The hydraulic cutterbar angle adjustment enables the operator to adjust the cutting angle on the go to match changing ground or field conditions.

NOTE: The hydraulic cutterbar angle adjustment requires a separate selective control valve (SCV). Three SCVs are required when the machine is equipped with hydraulic tilt control.

Turnbuckle

The turnbuckle top link is used to adjust the cutting angle adjustment. It includes a wrench for adjusting.

Gauge shoe extension

Tall-crop gauge-shoe extensions (B) are available to meet the needs of operators who wish to maintain a greater stubble height.

Rotary strippers

Rotary strippers can be installed on the end disks to improve crop flow and convergence to the conditioner.

This can improve cutting, minimize crop recirculation, and smooth out material flow through the conditioner.

Drawbar shield

A drawbar shield helps to prevent windrow bunching that can occur when the drawbar contacts heavy windrows.

Seven-pin outlet kit

The seven-terminal electrical outlet is required on tractors not equipped to power the taillights and turn signals.

A safety chain serves as a device to ensure the mower-conditioner stays attached to the tractor, should a drawbar or hitch pin failure occur.

The tractor must be equipped with an intermediate chain support ahead of the hitch pin.

Gauge rollers

Attached behind the cutterbar to reduce wear on the cutterbar wear plate and improve the movement of the header over uneven terrain, as well as in sand or firm soil conditions.

Additional gauge shoes

Improves the placement of the cutterbar in relation to the ground, thereby reducing wear on the
cutterbar and enhancing the in field performance of the header.

Tall crop dividers

The tall crop dividers attach to the ends of the header for clean crop dividing, and reel entry in tall crops. They can be easily adjusted to suit the crop.

Reel bats

Additional reel bats can be purchased and installed to fit the needs of the user.

Double windrow attachment for W150

The double windrow attachment feature lays up to 48-ft. of crop in a single windrow. This is ideal for today’s large forage harvesters, and can translate into significant time and fuel savings for producers who employ this feature.

Wide turn limiters

Turn limiters may be required to prevent powerline damage if the hitch point of the tractor is beyond the rear drive wheels of the tractor.

John Deere tractors manufactured prior to 1993 and some competitive tractors may not require turn limiters.

NOTE: Turn limiters are not required for machines equipped with a rockshaft swivel hitch.

Dimension check

To determine if turn limiters are required:

1. Set up the tractor with the PTO shaft speed desired for the mower-conditioner.
2. Set the tractor drawbar in the proper position for the PTO shaft (see the tractor operator's manual for details).
3. Lay a straight edge between the rear tires at the outermost diameter.
4. From the straight edge, plumb a line to the tractor drawbar and measure distance A from the line to the center of the hitch pin hole.
5. Use the following sections to determine if turn limiters are needed on the tractor.

540-rpm clevis hitch or ball hitch

• If dimension A is less than 4-1/2 in. (115 mm), no turn limiters are required.
• If dimension A is 4-1/2-in. to 9-5/8 in. (115 mm to 245 mm), narrow turn limiters are required.
• If dimension A is 9-5/8-in. to 12-3/8 in. (245 mm to 315 mm), wide turn limiters are required.

1000-rpm clevis hitch or ball hitch

• If dimension A is less than 6-1/2 in. (165 mm), no turn limiter are required.
• If dimension A is 6-1/2 in. to 11-5/8 in. (165 mm to 295 mm), narrow turn limiters are required.
• If dimension A is 11-5/8 in. to 14-3/8 in. (295 mm to 365 mm), wide turn limiters are required.
