John Deere Tech Program

The John Deere Technician Training Program is structured to provide a well-rounded education, combining classroom instruction, hands-on lab experiences, and practical on-the-job training, tailoring your preparation for a rewarding career as a John Deere technician. There are 3 local options to choose from, check out the map below to find one closest to you! Choose from a 2-year certification and associate degree or a 1 year certification (offered through Fort Scott Community College).

Dealer Sponsored Schools

Consider enrolling in approved diesel technology programs such as Ozarks Technical Community College or State Technical College of Missouri. Heritage Tractor sponsors this pathway, offering 100% tuition reimbursement over 24 months. Upon finishing school, you will complete your John Deere specific training as a Heritage Tractor employee.
