Hydraulics

#

3E Series Tractors can be equipped with a field-installed rear hydraulic remote kit, providing two additional hydraulic spools on the back of the tractor. This kit can be field installed on a tractor with a loader or without a loader.

The functions are completely separate from the loader. These rear remotes can be hooked up to a wide variety of implements and attachments such as the following:

  • Hydraulically angled blade
  • Hydraulically controlled chute/spout on a 3-point hitch-mounted snow blower
  • Hydraulic scarifiers on a box blade
  • Many other hydraulic rear attachments

This versatile kit gives 3E Series Tractor operators the options they desire for putting their tractors into a wide range of tasks. The first spool is equipped with a float position, giving the operator the ability to contour the landscape and improve the final grade with certain implements.

Please note that neither of the spools in this kit are equipped with a detent position; therefore, they should not be hooked up to anything with a motor, as the valve was not designed to be run open. It is designed for momentary, on-demand hydraulic flow such as moving a cylinder.

The approximate installation time is 1 hour to 1.5 hours.

Power beyond linkagePower beyond linkage

The power beyond kit allows access to pressurized hydraulic oil at the rear of the tractor for operating attachments equipped with an open center control valve, such as a backhoe and log splitter.

Lighting

Rear work lightRear work light

This kit provides light to the rear of the tractor for evening work.

For open-station tractors only, this kit contains individual light.

Allow 30 minutes to install.

NOTE: Kit includes one rear light.

NOTE: Both the rear- and forward-work lights are compatible together and with the light-brush guard kits. The light kit contains a two-to-four pigtail that plugs into the main harness, as if only plugging one set of lights, providing two sets of plugs to use for forward and rear-work lights. The forward light is installed on top of the brush guard, and the rear light is installed inside the ROPS using the bolt holding the light and brush guard on.

NOTE: For 102E3 and 1026R Tractors – kit interference during backhoe operations (mounted inside ROPS) – use LVB25546 forward-light kit as an alternative.

#

The forward-lighting kit provides extra visibility when working in dark conditions. Lights attach to the brush guards located on the rollover protective structure (ROPS). Each kit contains two lights.

NOTE: Requires BLV10400 warning light brush guard kit and LVB26026 light kit harness. Not compatible with LVB25547 rear work light kit (1023E).

NOTE: Requires BLV10400 warning light brush guard kit. Not compatible with LVB25547 rear work light kit (1025R, 2025R, 2032R, 2038R, 3025E, 3032E, 3038E, 4105, 4044M, 4052M, 4066M).

Rollover protective structure (ROPS) mounted LED work lights

An optional LED work light kit is available for all open-station compact utility tractors. These lights provide extra visibility when working in dark conditions and have 180-degree rotation to face forward or backward. The kit contains two lights and the mounting hardware required for installation.

This lighting kit is mounted to the warning light brush guard kit, which is mounted to the ROPS and requires attachment BLV10400 for installation.

The halogen work light kit attachment is still available (LVB25546).

ROPS warning-light brush guards protect turn signal/warning lights from damage caused by low branches on trees.

Two guards are included in each kit and are for open-operator station (OOS) tractors only.

One of the greatest operator concerns involves difficulty in attaching tractor implements. John Deere has addressed this issue with the iMatch Quick-Hitch.

The iMatch Quick-Hitch provides easy hookup and a guaranteed fit for all Category 1 implements designed to meet the ASAE Category 1 Standard S278.6 for quick-attach hitches.

  • All implements require a set of bushings in order for the attachment to fit and work properly with the iMatch Quick-Hitch. One set of bushings comes with the iMatch Quick-Hitch.

NOTE: All implements (box blades, tillers, rear blades, landscape rakes, etc.) require a set of bushings to enlarge the pin to fit with the iMatch hooks. Bushings of different lengths can be found in the parts system or through a bushing supplier (see dimensions below).

  • Upper bushing
    • Inside diameter of 0.76 in. to 0.77 in. (19 mm to 20 mm)
    • Outside diameter of 1.24 in. to 1.25 in. (31 mm to 32 mm)
  • Lower bushings

Always in the shop

1/5

Bought this machine in September 2022. Worked great for the first 47 hours and then it would constantly be melting glue from the wiring harness, causing a short between the fuses and the harness so the machine wouldn't start. This happened every 2-5 hours until the dealer replaced the harness at 130 hours. Machine worked great until 195 hours when it decided that yet again, it does not want to start. At this point, I am so disenchanted with this machine that I'm ready to trade for another brand. Considering the lack of reliability, coupled with the fact that it has the same engine you'll find in other tractors (RK, Yanmar, etc) it's hard to justify the higher cost of the JD.

Pretty Good tractor

4/5

I bought my tractor new in August of 2019. I currently have about 700 hours on it. I’ve had one issue that required the tractor going back for service. That was a cylinder for the steering went out. I’m not a fan of the plastic pieces on the tractor. I use it year round in every season. In the dead of winter in Maine, the plastic pieces become brittle and crack or break. But, the metal is strong, the welds are good and the engine is good. I also bought the backhoe attachment when I purchased the tractor. It works, but not nearly the power I wish it had. It pulls a scraper blade just fine, and this summer I will try out a fence post auger I recently bought. I’m a disabled vet, and I cannot get around to do the things I use to. This tractor has definitely made my life easier. It helps me clear the land of trees and rocks, to helping me create pastures for gardens and animals. With the exception of Jan and Feb I am using the tractor almost daily. I gave it 4 stars, as I do not like plastic on tractors and it also has a catalytic converter. I couldn’t believe that. Outside of regular services for oil or whatever it has been reliable. I will probably upgrade to a bigger one some day as I have had some times where I could have used more power. Good tractor.

2016 3032E

3/5

Have had this tractor for five years, and overall it has done a good job. Forced dealer to fit it with agricultural tires instead of the stock industrial tires, which is one of the best moves. Have used it for light planting, brush clearing, skidding, and mowing of 17 acres. Has been very difficult to find weights, as the bolt pattern does not match the JD stock. Have also had ongoing problems with the brakes since the first three months, and dealer will not even discuss the issue until we pay for pick-up and shop time.

Honestly was kind of sceptical of only having 25hp. It really surprised me how it can walk up and down my hills. Only issue I had was 1 of the lines to the front loader was finger tight. A wrench and 2 min later was fixed. Have 85 hrs on mine 90% is useing the pto. Looking forward to many more years of use.. will update if anything changes

Simple yet effective!

4/5

I bought this machine with low expectations but was pleasantly surprised, after my skid steer went down and no time to fix it I decided I needed to add a back up for my skid steer when it went down, functionality is great and power is spot on. I have approximately 10 hours on the machine and I have not found a deal breaking flaw, i have found a few little things that i would change so far, key switch is much like ball hitch on a pickup just waiting for my knee to base into it, the push button controls on the dash are not lighted when the lights are on and in the dark you cant see what you are are push without another source of light, I like the speed of the loader functions but it would be nice if the curl and lower was a little faster, the forward driving lights are good until the loader bucket is in the way, I added the Deere led aux front light kit and one rear facing light and now its great. overall I am very pleased with this tractor and it does great for what i use it for, my skid steer may do it better and faster but the 3032E can hold its own. I also added the bluetooth module for live up to date stats!

2020 JOHN DEERE 3032E WORKHORSE

5/5

I recently purchased my new John Deere 3032E from my local dealer. I spent approximately 6 months researching the different models starting out with the 1 and 2 series tractors. The tractor has performed flawlessly. The front end loader and attachments are easy to operate and change from the bucket to the pallet forks. The rear hitch with the Imatch system is a great improvement. I was leaning towards a 3025E for sometime but decided to go with the higher horsepower model and I am very glad I did. The John Deere MX5 rotary cutter works perfectly with the 3032E. I highly recommend checking out the John Deere 3032E before making a purchase.

GREAT UNIT FOR THE MONEY

5/5

Just purchased the 3032e from my local dealer. Great experience with the dealer made for a good start. 0% financing option on my balance helps as well. Put tractor and loader through its paces when I got it home. Everything was a pleasant surprise. All the features you need and not a lot of fluffy extras. Power steering, hydra drive, 4x4, loader. There are some key benefits to the "r" model but many are not needed by most users. We will see how it holds up but quality looks great, as good as any I looked at and better than all of the Chinese or India imports. My first GREEN tractor and so far I'm a big fan.

Pros

  • all the basic needs
  • priced very well for the features
  • great financing and good warranty
  • seams very well constructed

Cons

  • had to pay to have dealer add power beyond

A hard worker

5/5

I have 130 hours on this tractor and it has not disappointed. Well built, good quality, small enough to get into tight places yet adequate power to do medium to heavy work. I have done hauling, mowing and post hole digging with a 12" auger and no problems. It's easy to maneuver and does not leave a deep footprint. On the flip side, the engine is really noisy at start up when cold but runs smoothly when warmed up. The loader is too sensitive. It lacks a draft mode on the 3 pt. hitch. It's very difficult to change one of the hydraulic filters. A bigger tool box would be nice as would an additional and deeper cupholder. Service where I deal is really good. The manager came out and explained some of the features and recommended some operating practices.

Pros

  • does the job

Cons

  • no 3pt draft

Great value and ease of use.

4/5

My dad bought one about 3 yrs ago and I have used it a good bit. I just bought one that is a 2018 model and I like the improvements with the fuel tank being put behind the seat for easier fueling and not getting it on the hood. I am having a rear remote put on it but they are having to up grade it due to the fuel tank being behind the seat, other than that it is a great tractor for what I need. I need the rear remote to run a wood slitter. I plan on using it for gardening and mowing my pastures.

Pros

  • great value

Cons

Very good tractor, very pleased with it

5/5

I bought a 3032e in 2010, I have 10 acre tract, and my neighbor used my tractor to brush hog his (22 acre), easy to ride, very comfortable, I have like 800 hours and runs like brand new, dig two small ponds with it and did a great job, I purchased a package with auger and box blade, my neighbor broke the auger because he was digging in rock, I am very please with it, I just wanted a back hoe attachment and not sure if is going to be a good idea because the housing is aluminum and I heard won't stand the backhoe..

Pros

  • easy to ride
  • reliable

Cons

Great value for your money!

5/5

I have five acres wth big fir and oak trees and lots of blackberry bushes needed a tractor. The property has never been developed or worked. I started looking at all the major brands, orange, green, red, and blue. You probably get my drift on the brands. When it all came down to it Jong Deere was in the middle of the pack as far as price. John Deere was the only one offering zero percent financing . Let's also be honest who dosent want a green machine, l always wanted one as a kid. So I bought a 3032e with a front end loader, brush hog ,box scraper and rototiller. I work for the local power company and we use John Deere equipment . We work our equipment hard and their stuff holds up! I be lost with out my green machine! I have had it for three years and almost 300hrs on it and no problems yet!

My 3032E has been in the shop almost as much as on my small place. Seals in the left front have been replaced several times (3) still leaks. PTO quit working, stayed in the shop for over a month that time. Now it just came home after a small bolt broke off ( on the hitch) with no load on it. It's a 2009 model (that's when I bought it new) It does have pretty "Green" paint. I always was told , "you pay more for that "Green" paint. I only have 300 hours in 8 years

Pros

  • it's pretty

Cons

  • never know when it will have a problem

Great Work Horse

5/5

We bought this tractor brand new, much at my (new) wife's disgust, as she wanted a Bass Boat and so did I!!! LOL However we bought a five acre property which requires being kept mowed(Slashed) at least once a month if not every three weeks. The property also has large oak trees which loose branches etc and moving these large branches is easy with the 3032. I'm originally a city boy so basically no idea about the country. But the 3032 has made working around the property very easy.

I have only had this tractor for a few days and man has it made my life so much better. Runs a 6ft brush hog great and has not bogged down one bit even in heavy brush. used it to move 1200 lbs. round bales with a rear bale spike and had not one problem with picking it up. I will say that it is a little light in the front end. But I just grab a load dirt in the FEl and it keeps me from having any problems there. Could use a little wider rear tires so when using some 3pt. it will not rub the tires on the inside. I will get some wheel spacers to fix that. I can not wait tell the hay cutting season so I can use the sickle mower and wheel rake on this tractor so I don't have to use the bigger tractor that's hard to get in to some of the places to cut hay. The FEL works great the only complaint I would have to say about it is that its not a skid steer style bucket but there is adapters out there to make them work if needed. If your looking for a great tractor with out all them extra's and lots of power for around a small farm than the 3E will get the job done. If I had to do it all over again I would buy it this tractor over the orange tractor that's way over priced. The Sales Department at Farm Lawn & Leisure are great did not try pushing me into a tractor the did not fit my needs. John Deere had some great APR rates too. Oh and there insurance is dirt cheap

Bought this 3032e in September, 2014. Just turned 200 hours (February, 2016). Use it for rough and finish mowing, moving sand, gravel, rocks, pulling trees, moving and turning manure. I've been extremely happy with its capability, reliability and size.

This is a Awesome Tractor

5/5

I am so amazed at what I call my Green Baby....this tractor is amazing to be a smaller tractor, I grew up on my Grand Daddies farm and was raised on John Deere farming, I have cleaned acreage and have accomplished more than what I expected out of a smaller tractor than I could have ever dreamed! It is so simple and easy to drive a child could do it....It is a tuff and efficient and I am proud to be a part of the John Deere heritage I was raised on! This new series is the Bomb! The dealer we purchased her through in Mershan at Ag Pro are a great bunch to deal with!

I bought mine in 2010, a packet with brush hog, post hole digger and box blade, good power, front loader very nice, works excellent, hasn't give me any troubles, easy to drive, no complaints, I have 11 acres, good size of tractor for the land. I would recommend it, this model doesn't have fold able ROPS, but I don't need them, I have a canopy, when I go though low branches is a little problem, but it's ok,

A really dependable little tractor

5/5

I bought mine new in the front of 2011 with a loader and auger, and it hasn't broke yet. I haven't had any hydraulic issues other than on a scorching hot day on a 5-ft bush-hog cutting heavy brush and grass, the hydro-static tractor gets hot and bogs down after about 8 straight hours. That's fine though, after 4 hours or so you will want a break cuz its a rough ride with its short wheel base. It's size was perfect for me working in the woods, and clearing the thicket around the house. It's FWD works very well, and i love the hydro-static for mowing and working in tight quarters. If you got a 10 acre place or smaller, its really hard to beat and payed less than the orange tractor. A tank of fuel will last a while, the Yanmar is an efficient little diesel. I suggest a bigger tractor if you do alot of loader work because the 305 loader could use more piston power. Recommend the R4 tires to prevent tearing up your property, and better flotation.

Pros

  • maneuverability
  • hydraulic durabilty
  • low maintenance

Cons

  • lifting power for the 305 loader

3032e....wow

5/5

This is the easiest tractor to use very diverse. If your not a huge farm this is the perfect tractor for the house and 35 acres of land. I have 456 hours not a problem I have worked this tractor to death it never fails to do what I ask of it, When I went shopping I check Kubota and Mihindra both good tractors. The John Deere was the best fit for me. For all the things they says that they do better than my lil 3032e well there are pros and cons to this argument. sometimes it comes down to the fit for your life and ease of use .....for me that was the 3032e. The 3038e was quite impressive however I did want a turbo because that was one more thing to replace in about 5 or so years. I look at my John Deere everyday and Im proud of my purchase. I regret nothing. when it came down to kubota or J D the dealer kept pushing the free trailer. Well if you do the math in each attachment to get the free trailer... you are really paying for it. John Deere offered 0 o/o for 5 years it was cheaper than Kubota. with the same attachments you had to buy 1 or attachment than deere to get the free trailer but I can build a trailer and I did. The fuel mileage is great!!!!!! buy this tractor!!!! Greenway John Deere took very good care of me Sam Myers the salesman was great very honest. Everybody at greenway are the best for being non pushy and very knowledgeable about the agri field

It's a beast

5/5

I bought my 3032e in 2009 got near 500 hours on it. I have the 305 loader on mine. Have ruptured 2 hoses due to my trying to overwork it's capacities. I also have 60" box blade, 60" rough cut and finish mowers, 60" tiller and disc harrow. Once I added water/antifreeze mix to rear tires it pulled much better and had a more stable footprint. I have had Tach issues and easily corrected by tightening the fan belt which had come loose? Have not had any front axle seal issues and I run mine through rough terrain and swamp bottoms here in middle Ga. I have plans to add a 5000lb winch as I have had it stuck to the frame in sloppy mud. I mainly use it on my 500 acre hunting lease. It has proven itself to be a tremendous investment. Only part I have had problems with is the adjustable link from the rockshaft arm to the 3pt lower arm Have replaced it twice. oh and the rear turnsignal/running lights are mounted in bad location for running through the woods. Mine broke off within the 1st 6 months

Pros

  • awesome power for the buck

Cons

  • broken 2 adjustable lift arm links
  • rear lighst mounting on roll cage break off easily

Good little tractor

4/5

Bought the tractor new in 2011 and has 250 hours on it. We have a 10.5 acre hobby farm. Use the following: 6' finish mower, 5' brush cutter, 4' tiller. Two warranty claims with less than 50 hours: fender tool box cracking and cracking seat cover. New seat is cracking again. It is stored inside. The new material used is too briddle. Contacted the dealer, and haven't gotten response. The only other problem is oil around rear end and don't know where coming from, but not leaving pool on ground, so hopefully not too big an issue

Awesome little tractor!

5/5

The only thing I regret about this tractor is not buying it sooner. It pulls and operates a 5ft rough cut mower with ease and runs a 6ft rotatiller just fine as well. My main use for it was for snow removal, but I find myself using it for every project I have in the yard and of course in the field. Why is this review page so picky about a Nickname? I almost cancelled my review out of frustration!

Can't complain...it surprises me every time!

5/5

I am admittedly not a huge John Deere fan. We have some equipment that just seems to give us problems left and right and just because it is JD, means it is more expensive to fix. So, I'm a hard-sale when it just comes down to paint color. However, last year I needed a new tractor for a 40-acre property just purchased that needed work and clearing. I ran across this baby and decided to give it a shot for the price. And...I am still loving it! This beast makes me forget it is a compact utility tractor. It handles EVERYTHING we've thrown at it without fuss. Absolutely no issues. Love this tractor not only for its uses but versatility. I'm 5'0 and can operate with no issues at all. Hubby is 6ft and doesn't feel cramped...Thank you John Deere for putting out such a great product.

Excellent tractor

5/5

I have had this tractor since Nov. of 2011 and I have put 125 hours on it with no problems. I use it mainly for mowing my lawn with a 6' finishing mower but have used it on a 7' blade, 5' tiller and a 5' rotary mower. Has never ran out of power and does excellent on fuel. It is a lightweight tractor so it does not tear up my lawn. I love the twin touch pedals it comes with. I researched several other brands and am real pleased that chose this one. It is a pretty basic tractor but it does what I have always wanted it to.

The Little Tractor that Could

5/5

Bought the tractor in early 2012 and have loved it ever since. I haven't come across a job it hasn't been able to do yet. I have ten acres with a barn and riding arena and it makes life so much easier. The forward and reverse pedals have taken some getting accustomed to but once I did I was off and running. Between shredding, hauling manure and dragging the arena the little tractor as had more than enough muscle to do the job and all while being very economical on the fuel usage. It pulls my 500 gallon water wagon around my sand arena with no problems. All in all, I am very pleased with the tractor.

Nice little tractor

5/5

We looked at a few brands of tractors Dec 2011... decided on this one. Needed small enough to get through the woods and still be powerful enough to move gravel and manure. Is a pretty strong tractor for its size and at 120 hours... the only issue we have had was a sticky gas pedal. Husband greased the linkage, and no more issues. So far, it is doing what we need it to do.

Good tractor for an average homeowner

3/5

I have had this tractor for three years now, The front axle seals have went bad 3 times and the tach stopped working the day I brought it home. The tractor had 96 hours on it then finally the dealer replaced the tach. The rear end was really light which I had to use 4 wheel allot more than I would have like to but I filled them full of fluid and it has been allot better. As for the price I have found several tractors with the same specs as this one for upwards of $4000 cheaper brand new. The only reason I went green was because they have their own financing which at the time was helpful for me. Overall I have liked the tractor its done well for me.

  • easy to use

Awesome tractor for a tight budget

5/5

I love this tractor. It fit in my budget and is capable of doing most of the work I want it to do. I use a 5ft brush cutter, finish mower, box blade, rake, and scraper. The tractor operates all with ease. I wish the bucket roll-back strength was better and I wish low gear was a little lower. An independent diff lock pedal would have been preferred. It is great on fuel and the ergonomics set the standards for all to follow. I am 6'3" and find it roomy even for my large feet. The controls are very easy to use especially the forward and reverse pedals. I have had zero issues and have not found any defects or blemishes. Oh, and I look totally cool on it.

Pros

  • great ergonomics
  • a-1 quality
  • it's green!
  • pto operation is excellent in function and design

Bought new 2011

5/5

Used many tractors growing up, mostly MF. First JD and love it. Didnt think I could afford a JD and priced a Kubota of equal horsepower and JD beat the price. Already had many attachments, added a loader to the 3032e, cleared approx. 4 acres, pushed and dug up trees. I've put 400hrs since new on this little beast. Dont let the size fool you, it is an awesome tractor. Be careful on slopes, not a big foot print but going straight up and down I think it could climb any mountain, I know I'm a little biased. The hydro is great, my wife even likes driving the tractor. I cut my lawn with the tractor using a finishing mower. I know cut my yard and my neighbors both are approx. 6 acres. His yard is so steep a regular mower will not work, but with the 3023e 4x4 I can cut it with no problem. It is light enough working around the creek bottom that it wont sink like heavier tractors, and my tires are not weighted but I might get them filled. If your looking for a good tractor and not wanting to break the bank take a look at this one. I'm not a dealer just love my tractor.

Almost 200 hours on the tractor now. Just like another reviewer, we've had the tractor in three times for faulty front axle seals, and the tach doesn't work consistently. My biggest gripe, however, is that you can't put ice chains on the tractor without using spacers--no wheel clearance. The sway bars are also super close to the wheels without spacers. I wrote to John Deere corporate about these issues and they are a bunch of non-responsive idiots, in my opinion. You also can't put a 3pt hitch backhoe on it. We had to mount a backhoe onto a subframe, which takes away clearance. Wouldn't buy this tractor again, and I'm not impressed with John Deere corporate or our local dealer. Going orange next time around. You get a pretty JD tractor at this price point, but don't be fooled.

Lots of mechanical issues

2/5

We have had this since 2008 with about 150 hours on it. We have had to replace the front axle seals 4 times and now they are leaking again. We have had to replace the tach once and now it is not working again. Have had it in 3 times because the forward pedals stick and the tractor literally will keep going if you take your foot off. Most of the issues were covered under the warranty but now that is expired and the issues are reappearing. Not covered under warranty is the cost to have the tractor hauled in for repair each time. This has been a problem tractor. Buyer beware!!

Very pleased with my 3032E at 18 hours of operation

5/5

So far I have 18 hours on my 3032E and I am very pleased with my purchase. I got the 305 loader and the BB2060 box blade for doing small farm/ landscaping work in central Arizona. The tractor has plenty of pulling power with the 4wd, and the 5 foot loader and box blades makes short work out of dirt and moving debris. The tractor is very steady, drives solid and feels like a real working machine. So far I have no complaints or problems. With the power steering, comfortable adjustable seat, ease of the forward/reverse levers and the hydraulic loader controls, this tractor can keep you working all day long with no fatigue. I simply love it. The only problem I have noticed is that I run out of work for it to do! I could spend hours driving this thing!!! I have driven tractors for 30+ years- large and small.
