Start your Career with Us

Trade School, career change, college degree – when thinking about a future in the workforce, the choices are numerous and can seem overwhelming. If you or someone you know is interested in mechanics, engines, technology, or just like working with their hands, becoming a technician might be the right path. We understand college can seem expensive, and that is why we want to help.

We sell both new and pre-owned equipment ranging from UTVs to combines, but one of the largest aspects of our business is our service department, with an ever-growing need for technicians.

The world’s population is projected to reach nine billion by 2050, so the need has never been greater to ensure producer’s equipment remains operational and productive. The demand for qualified technicians has increased by 9% in the last year, with an estimated 3,000 additional positions expected across the U.S. This creates an unmatched opportunity for new technicians.

We are always looking for passionate, hardworking employees to join our family and we have an especially high demand for technicians in this ever-growing industry. Heritage Tractor offers technician students both tuition reimbursement and job sponsorship. For students in the John Deere Tech program, their two-year Accredited Associate Degree trains them in the classroom, lab, and on the job worksites to prepare students for their career as certified John Deere technicians.

Heritage Tractor offers paid internships to enrolled students while they complete the John Deere Tech program. Upon graduation, qualifying candidates are hired as full-time employees. Heritage Tractor reimburses students for tuition and the cost of books over their first 24 months on the job. Heritage Tractor also offers other benefits including competitive pay, tool discounts, insurance, 401K, opportunities for advancement, and more.
